All of our Weaving Workshops are taught using our studio stock of the Cricket Rigid Heddle Loom. This loom is a great place to start for a beginner as well as a perfect step up for a weaver with a bit of experience. It's perfect for small spaces (looking at you, tiny apartment-dwellers) and can easily be tucked away in the closet when you're not using it. But really, with the ease and range of this loom, it's not likely you'll want to put it away! 

The Cricket Rigid Heddle Loom is compact, capable, and cute! WE GATHER currently offers the Cricket Loom in a 15″ weaving width. The Cricket is made of high-quality apple ply and hard maple and is left unfinished. Each Cricket comes with an 8-dent reed, a threading hook, warping peg, table clamps, two shuttles, and two balls of yarn.

WE GATHER also stocks 12-dent reeds and pick-up sticks for the 15" Cricket Loom.
